TELL CONGRESS: • Permanent housing serves 1,800 Louisvillians: families with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. • It is cost-efficient, flexible, and effective! • HUD needs to maintain funding for permanent housing and remove the proposed 30% limit, giving local communities the freedom to fund housing programs that we know are working. • We cannot afford an increase homelessness in Louisville today! PLEASE call your Senators and Representatives and ask that they ensure HUD maintains its funding for permanent housing. I think this is something that it’s even worth your time to call Republicans about. I prefer to call local offices but the Capitol switchboard can be reached at (202) 224-3121
