Either that, or he's got some serious lyrics confusion going on!

Got "earworm Rick Rolled" by my son, and now I'm just doing dishes, singing:

I love you guys! You create so much shade and help keep the house and yard cooler! So beautiful!

Ugh...seriously?! Is it really necessary to have so many leaves and then drop them over multiple weeks? So much raking!

YES!! I also love Purple Heather (by Tod Stewart), which has the bouzouki, which is v. similar to the mandolin (and is very. fun to say)!

All it takes is a couple kids in the friend group using "y'all" (my daughters) and the next thing you know, the whole group of CA born & bred girls is using it!

He's pretty great about dealing with the kitchen every afternoon when he gets home and again before bed. He's just not able to stand, so needs different chores 😅

My husband has been home from work b/c he messed up his ankle. He's going a bit stir crazy, so he asked for chores.
