Those tunnels are great. Waaaaay better than having to walk on icy sidewalks in the winter to get from building to building!

I used to think "how do you count illegals" was the worst question.
And fertility was like "hold my beer."
And there's a great explainer from EPIC (their formal comment) that includes information about why the change is problematic. You can read that here: www.regulations.gov/comment/USCI...
02.12.2025 14:52 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0DHS posted about the change in the Federal Register. If you missed that one, you're in luck, SSA also posted a call for comments.

That's bananas.
But gotta' keep people from noticing the actual bad things that are happening by shifting their attention to panic about kids saying two numbers in a sing-song voice.
I have seen that before with National Survey of Children's Health--posted with no fanfare. But NSCH is a sponsored survey, so HHS is supposed to take the lead on any announcements. Census is "just" the data wrangler.
For CPS that seems... interesting.
Wait... what?
They're just quietly posted but missing replicate weights?
LinkedIn just did that to me earlier this week.
It feels kinda creepy to have a system automatically change your status.

It shouldn't even need to be said, but apparently does: it is beyond the pale for anyone to suggest such things, let alone the president of the united states.
