Simple compromise- all original stories should be created by living directors, actors and crew. All sequels, prequels and remakes can be directed by, acted in and ideally viewed solely by AI.

It does! The dream would be to have a vibrant enough community to collectively curate new content, so the world could grow organically. The way it’s designed, a group of players could cherry-pick which craters they want to use in their campaign

The real dream would be for it to take on a life of its own- it’s designed to be modular so theoretically passionate creators could add to it and grow the lore

The basic framework is coming together- I daydream about getting it in publishable form someday, but for now it’s a living wiki, so I don’t know how to measure how far along it is.

To make something that lives on beyond me- a world or story that inspires other (very likely more talented) people to grow it and add to it. Basically to be H.P. Lovecraft, Gary Gygax or George Lucas, so obviously very achievable.

The priests of Brostag teach that throwing a successful party for returning soldiers grants good fortune to the next, with the spirits of the fallen aiding the fresh troops, so these parties are serious business.

In Drievech, every 15 days fresh troops are sent to the front to relieve those manning the trenches. It is customary for returning troops to be greeted with a parade and celebration in their honor, put on by their families, sponsors and platoons soon to be rotated in. The dead are mourned, tales…

In exchange, the other realms have gained access to the gunpowder weapons the Vetelim had developed. Additionally, time in the trenches has professionalized the militaries of other realms, few of whom had ever seen large-scale warfare.
