I Was A King - s/t
A burst of colour on the sleeve and a burst of jangly, melodic tunes which wears its influences (Big Star, Teenage Fanclub, Byrds) with pride. A blend of warmth and rawness, with brilliant hooks. Norwegian’s finest and a contender for my five.

It’s decent Eoin, doesn’t quite hit the heights but a grower I suspect. If we’re confessing, to my shame (and knowing how you feel about them), I’ve barely ever listened to Lush, don’t know their stuff at all…
