Last night I mourned the passing of my thirties with some amazing pals and danced until the Dark Lili (Legend, 1985) costume I made at the last possible second with foam, velcro and a glue-gun, literally fell apart. Bliss.

Thank you so much to the excellent @iamgiantwoman.bsky.social for asking the important questions today at our MCM panel! Really hope people heard some useful info and took something positive from the discussion. I, for one, learnt that most of us fell into this crazy business, "by accident"! 🤣

The New York Guggenheim was rather spectacular yesterday. Even on a drab day the light filled the space with interesting shapes and shadows.

We all love the obvious graphic power of a monumental, centered image on a double-page spread, but artists, please, heed the words of someone who's been doing this for a long time: if your work will EVER be published in book format, the entire concept of designing a DPS this way is off the table.
