Bluesky profile with “live now” indicator

We’re testing a new feature! Starting this week, select accounts can add a livestream link to sites like YouTube or Twitch, and their Bluesky profile will show they’re live now.

This is an early test, so only a handful of accounts can go live on Bluesky right now. We’re announcing this publicly so you know what we’re working on, even though the feature is not widely available yet. We'll refine this feature based on feedback before a full launch to all users.

Bluesky is the place for breaking news and real-time updates. This tool supports streamers, journalists, and anyone sharing live moments as they happen.

Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U runs at a bizarre fixed framerate of 59.0625 fps, whereby every 64th frame is a copy of the one before it. This only happens when CPU opponents are present, so it may be an error in the code instead of a performance issue.

The Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door changes Mario's sleep timers, which inadvertently buffs Luigi's ability to bore people to sleep. Before, listening to him was 2.6 times more boring than doing nothing; in the remake, it is 6.46 times more boring.

In Super Mario Galaxy, Mario actually loses his arms when becoming Spring Mario, which is hidden by the spring enveloping his body. By unloading the spring model, we can see what is really happening to Mario.

In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Kamek turns invisible whenever he teleports. By removing the invisibility, we can see that he is actually compressed to a thin line and stored in this spaghettified form in the game's memory until he reappears in a different spot.

In Super Mario 3D World, a Fire Bro in World Bowser-1 is programmed to only watch a specific platform for the player character. If the player skips the platform, the Fire Bro will be unable to see the character right in front of him.

In the intro to Super Mario Galaxy, a Toad trapped in a crystal changes expressions from happy when Mario is near to sad when he isn't, creating the expression that he is still conscious inside the crystal and is rejoicing at Mario's presence and despairing at his absence.

In Super Mario Galaxy 2, the Grandmaster Galaxy contains areas that change the skybox when Mario passes them. Exiting a skybox in an unintended direction (e.g. with the infinite flutter glitch) will suddenly make it turn blue, reminiscent of the Windows Blue Screen of Death.

The title music for Wario Land 4 contains vocal samples taken from sound libraries. Here are just the vocals in their original high-quality versions, allowing the words to be heard clearly.

In the intro to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Luigi pretends to go ahead but is always surreptitiously waiting just outside the screen for the player to catch up. The Note Blocks betray him.

In Mario Kart Wii, the eye hidden behind Rosalina's hair always mirrors the visible eye. As such, whenever she looks to the side, the eye mirrors the outward motion and causes her to be wall-eyed. By cutting her hair, this can be made visible.

Even though Bowser is a king, he does not normally wear a crown. An officially licensed Japanese picture book features a story where he appears to kidnap Peach at first but really just wants to take her crown so he can feel pretty.

In Mario Kart Wii, if Peach, Daisy or Rosalina are riding bikes, then on the first frame after fading in from a race, they will still be wearing their dresses while fused to the bikes in a T-pose. They will change into the appropriate clothes and sit correctly on the next frame.

In Mario Super Sluggers, Boo and King Boo have unused leg bones in their models, despite not having any legs. Below, the leg bones are made visible.

In the Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, partners do not want to look Mario in the eyes if he is standing exactly 1 block off the ground. Whenever he looks at his partner in this situation, the partner will teleport behind him.

After the second trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie released in November 2022, an official Illumination ad captioned it "No Gumba can stop the Mario Bros." It is unknown if this is simply a typo or if the person in charge really thought this was how "Goomba" is spelled.
