Using Peterborough transit for first time in years. Visited their website for the fare, saw it was $3 so grabbed a loonie and toonie. No tap (unlike GO TTC or other transit services) Thankfully the driver let me on, somewhat reluctantly. Obviously this is unacceptable.

We were able to oust Michelle Ferreri in Peterborough. People had "No More Ferreri" signs on their lawns as of last year. So the gloves were off a bit more here. Thankfully NDP supporters got the assignment. Ferreri actually had more votes than last time but there was no split and she lost by 10k.
There's a town in it called Enniskillen (I drive through it often to save on 407 tolls) that has a huge subdivision of mansions.
The riding is much like Carleton, the farthest reaches of suburbia blended with rural area beyond.
Vance is on record supporting annexing Canada. That is an implied military threat. Cons love to assail the BQ for being traitors in Parliament, but beings buds with someone threatening our sovereignty is orders of magnitude worse.

Election dynamics greatly favour Carney. Cons being "close " nationally doesn't give them a path to a majority. Huge support in AB and SK only give them those seats. They need a strong NDP for vote splits to get them urban and 905 seats in ON. NDP support is collapsing . Bloc as well.

This election is different. Carney and Trump attacks. Riding is more suburban Seems to include Durham College/University. Lots of hydro and auto workers. It's not slam dunk conservative the way Brock K-L Haliburton is. If NDP's don't want Jamil in Parliament bad enough, Girard (L) has chance.
I had to choose between volunteering in my home riding to rid parliament of Michelle Ferreri or drive a bit and try to rid parliament of Vance's buddy. A target rich environment of toxic CPC members.
People in Bowmanville -Oshawa North could end that threat . This riding is a bit less rural than the one he seized from Erin O'Toole.
