I'd really like to help implement solutions, but I just don't know enough people. For example, Chicago could have almost impossible to stop real-time ICE tracking in about a week.

We can't just protest. We need to outthink them.

Even if it couldn't be avoided, it would still be worthwhile to reduce the severity of the conflict. It's never too late to have a positive impact.

ICE is going after anyone that watches them. They'll kill you, shut your website or app down, and possibly blow up your house.

But, there are ways to watch them that they can't do a damned thing about.

The alien suit was definitely over the top. But, Republicans had to explain the proctologist visits to their wives, who fortunately for them don't know what a Grindr notification sounds like.

Eventually, all of these people will end up behind bars.

It did become socially unacceptable to support Nazis.

The problem is recruiting and a form of regulatory capture. The right controls most police agencies even in blue states. They hire their own.

Once I can get a good core of followers here and email subscribers, my plan is to launch a series of workshops online and in person to get all of this happening.

The book goes into limited depth on all of these topics and provides links to deeper resources.

We need to acknowledge and deal with the problem of regime and private violence that aims to snuff out peaceful efforts. But, we need to focus on the proven strategies of the Civil Rights Movement (that most people don't really understand).

To address the problems, we don’t need to start a war. We need parallel institutions that build resilient communities (both geographic communities and identity communities).

This can change things from the bottom up, eroding the pillars of authoritarianism and healing the root causes of violence.

These problems are too deep to solve with traditional political actions. Protesting, campaigns, and bothering our elected representatives are good actions, but that stuff alone can't stop this.

They intentionally set it up this way.
