She’ll stand there and wait for me to get up and throw my blankets over the back of the couch (my couch is my bed) to make like a little tent for her to go under. But it’s so cute that she lets me know when she wants it. 😩😩😩

I’ll never get over how freaking CUTE it is when I hear my cat do a little tiny meow and I look over and she’s standing on my bed where my blankets are all messed up because I KNOW it means she wants under the blankets. 🥺🥺🥺

Usually no one is still awake this late except me pfft.

My landlord got back from like a week in Belize today and it’s almost 4 am and they’re STILL doing laundry lmao. I thought I could hear something but didn’t think it was the dryer still running THIS late.

Computer had me thinking I had to work in like 20 minutes because it said 10:41 on it. Finally looked at my phone and it’s only 7:40 lmao. I had to like check and uncheck to set the time automatically and it changed to the right time.

Okay I got my PC to work again but also lost everything on it lmao. I didn’t even have much to lose except all the BG3 mods I had downloaded. 😭

I don’t wanna jinx it or anything before it fully works but I think I may have finally gotten my PC to work. Except I had to reinstall Windows on my second SSD as a brand new install instead of on the original one. So??? I don’t know if the original one is like, bad?

I haven’t seen one yet but any time my cat ISN’T looking under there I’m like “hey, so guard for mousies” because at least if she’s there and there is one, it probably won’t come out. 😩

My cat periodically goes over to the stove/counters and stares under there and now I’m worried there’s a mouse over there. That’s where I caught one before when I saw her looking under there.

It’s kinda crazy when you realize Canada is the second largest country in the world but only 41 million people live here. So much of it is uninhabitable. I think it’s something like 70 or 80% of land that’s uninhabited. A lot of it is forests, mountains, lakes, or it’s too freaking cold year round.

This TikTok that was like “stuff I saw in Canada that surprised me” and one of them was “Canada is very big and there are still lots of bushes” 😭

I did try using my work laptop but the download for the thing I need wouldn’t work plus I’m pretty sure they made it so we can’t put our own usb sticks in them anymore so it probably wouldn’t work anyway.

And I suppose if I REALLY needed it I could get my iMac out again but it’s in the garage upstairs so meh.

I was saying I can’t try fixing my PC until I can use my mom’s computer because I forgot I have a freaking MacBook I could use. 😂 It’s just been sitting on a shelf because I never use it so I forgot it existed.

Even if I ended up somewhere like Alberta or freaking Nunavut or something I’d still prefer it. 😭 I’ll take free healthcare and gun laws and a semi okayish government over what the US has going on.

Saw a TikTok that was like “Canadians would you rather move to the USA and be able to choose anywhere you want to live, or stay in Canada and have no choice in where you live?” Like legitimately, I’d still take Canada lmao.

Me and my mom did do a thing for the library where you bought a purse and then filled it with essentials and whatever else you wanted for women in need. That only cost us like $60 each but at least it was something.

Ugh I wish I had the money to do those angel trees I keep seeing on TikTok. I actually don’t know if Canada even does them since I’ve never seen one at our Walmart. But it would be so fun to spend all that money to buy kids all the stuff they want.

But he was so dumb he just had to message the police again even though he hadn’t killed for years, and then BELIEVED them when they said “nah we totally can’t tell who you are if you send us a floppy disk” so he did, and they did use that to find him. lmaooooo.

Every time I listen to anything about Dennis Rader (BTK serial killer) I find it SO FUNNY how he got caught. Like what a LOOOOOSEEERRR. If he wasn’t so desperate for attention he would’ve gotten away with it all and we’d still probably not know who BTK was. He’d be another Zodiac Killer.

I figured this would happen eventually but it hasn’t even been a year. I can’t even start it, Windows won’t start. And it won’t reinstall either until I try what I need to try with my mom’s computer.

My PC has something wrong with it already and I can’t figure out how to fix it. 😭 I have one other thing I can try but I’ll have to borrow my mom’s computer to do it. Otherwise I guess I’ll have to bring it to a shop or something.

Hopefully they’re rage baiting but I don’t know, some people these days are truly like this.

I don’t drink but I would not be offended by this lmao it’s a dog toy. I mean I don’t drink because I don’t want to, not because I’m an alcoholic or something, but would this really make someone who’s sober relapse? It’s not real. 😭

Recently got an email from our CEO about “collaboration days” ie. days you go into the office. Despite my job like a year ago fully leaning into the WFH thing. I ain’t collaborating with no one. I’ll collaborate from home. 😤

My favourite ones are the ones that are like, life in prison with no possibility of parole and then the judge also takes on like 200 extra years just for funsies. You NEVER getting out.

I know Canada goes EASY (there’s still dangerous offenders and other exceptions but still) on people compared to the States but damn. That really makes it clear. I listen to so much American true crime where people get prison forever with no parole ever that 20 years sounds like nothing.

Hearing that the sentence for this guy on this Dateline was “life in prison without the possibility of parole for 20 years” and then them saying it’s the longest sentence in Canada’s HISTORY for someone with no prior record is kinda hilarious. THAT’S the longest sentence in Canada’s history???

I’m listening to the Dateline episode from Friday and it takes place in Andrea Canning’s hometown which happens to be in Ontario, Canada. I never realized before that she’s Canadian.
