While the staple "level design and lore" pieces aren't as deep as traditional souls, it is still there. I feel like as time goes on some more souls players will have that "I get it now" moment, but many will still dislike or shun it due to the gameplay loop or lack of map variety.

It is kind of interesting how much exaggeration and focus there's been from players about her chest when it seems like the truth is just that she's the only Souls character that knows what a push-up bra is.

Yeah, I also been seeing that duo matching with a third is buggy or finicky, some people said regional matchmaking off and setting a for duo password helps, others still have issues after. Hopefully this gets fixed soon after/before the solo mode patch.

The official word from FromSoftware's website is apparently:
"a PvPvE title with online multiplayer at its core, where up to 8 players vie for supremacy among themselves and against challenging foes." Which sounds like it rules out the chance they're just poorly describing regular Souls multiplayer.

Not much point getting too mired in speculation though when we're already slated to get an interview soon that should clarify a lot of the questions the trailer left us with. FromSoftware definitely seems to be going through an experimental phase though.

There isn't evidence to back those accusations up. All that was shown is a trailer like calm down. We'll get a bit more from the interview later and know if it's good or not when it's out. As someone who doesn't personally enjoy pvp I'm sitting it out but that doesn't mean I should trash on it
