This is my father (with his sister).
They were German Jews. I am so thankful that they escaped from the Nazis and came to England as refugees. Most of the rest of their family were exterminated in Dachau, Riga and other concentration camps.

Sad to hear of the death of Pope Francis…servant of Jesus…a beacon of holiness, kindness, compassion and humility….a moral compass for this generation.
