Of course this is always going to be the final step. But do remember it happened before, the 40 hour work-week was only standardized in 1940 in America, nearly 15 years after it first was proposed for.

So, whilst there are definitely issues to be discussed regarding a shortened work-week, as some of the articles have discussed too, there are genuine tangible benefits to be had with regards to its implementation. Something to think about!

As some of these articles have shown, there have also been mental health benefits recorded, likely the same that attributed to an increase in productivity. Less stress, a better way to recharge, and generally being much more socially active all contribute to this
