Luvian was born in Azim Steppe. He was raised to be a warrior but ran away because he didn't like the concept of war. Coincidentally after he became the Warrior of Light he ran into the same issue he ran from as a teenager.

And it's not just the physical traits that make the comparisons, Luvian and Azem share the same stubbornness/bone-headed mindset that gets them wrapped up in trouble, both with their allies and with their higher-ups.

Luvian's eyes are directly from Azem, that same ruby red gaze paired with his stubborn attitude towards doing "logical" actions. Fire from within was also another trait that manifested inside of Luvian, a direct trait Azem himself was born with.

The Azure Dragoon silently clinging to his Warrior of Light after listening to him ramble for an hour straight. Then kisses him afterwards.

AST and GNB quests are completely disregarded for Luvian as he learned both classes from Urianger, and Thancred. Urianger post-Heavensward and Thancred post Shadowbringers.

MNK is pre-ARR but somewhat follows NIN and DRG closely as his lore is mixed in with dragons and fire magicks.
