Yeah nah that's not a flag of friendship at all
โThe Monday filing outlines where 2,050 positions would be eliminated; the U.S. Geological Survey, the Bureau of Land Management, and the main Interior office would be especially hard hit. Regional offices with the National Park Service are also targeted for significant cuts.โ

Ireland has great potential for in-situ CO2 mineralisation. However, policy roadblocks must be overcome to unlock these resources, ensuring the country reaches its #EU-mandated emissions targets. Read the paper, share your thoughts, and lets collaborate!

When it comes to public perception and social license, it's not as simple as 'offshore is easier'. A review of published studies shows that considerate stakeholder engagement, throughout project development, is the best approach.
Offshore reservoirs offer much larger storage volumes, but are often in more challenging operating environments, increasing exploration and development costs, roughly by an order of magnitude. Both offer large storage volumes for both #CCS and #CDR.
Really excited to share our latest publication! We investigate two basalt layers in #Ireland to compare the technical, economic, and social aspects of in-situ #CO2 mineralisation offshore and onshore! Read the accepted post-print at the link below: www.lyellcollection.org/doi/epdf/10....
BGS has launched the UK Geothermal Platform, which provides national- to local-scale information on geothermal potential.
Geothermal technologies have the potential to decarbonise heating and cooling, supporting the energy transition to net zero in the UK.

This core from well 53/04a-9 is from the southern margin of the SPB, where the Zechstein evaporite succession has a limited thickness.
The wellsite geologists have attempted to interpret the classic Zechstein formation breakdown, but isn't it a challenge to recognise the Grauer Salzton in here?
