Got an email to say that a teacher, at an international secondary school in France, loved The Wooden Hill so much, she is planning on teaching stories from it to the students.

I have the vinyl! It’s a good album. I saw Mark Kozelek live in London a few years ago. Good concert but he never plays any of his back catalogue. Also really like Admiral Fell Promises and April by Sun Kil Moon.

Ashamed to admit that a copy of Leonard and Hungry Paul by @ronanhession.bsky.social had been on my bookshelf for quite some time before I got around to reading it. Suffice to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s one of those rare books that lives up to its hype.
