That sounds about right. The good news is, however you end up feeling about the plot, the movie will be fun to look at. There's nothing egregious about it though.

We Bury the Dead was just okay, overall. The settings and different environments were beautiful though. Gorgeous looking film with a number of callbacks to other zombie films (28 Days Later and Day of the Dead being the most obvious).

Been on a #zombie movie kick lately and recently watch #LandOfTheDead. Why is this so hated? Its got more a entertaining cast than half the genre! I get that it's cheesy action horror and can feel Resident Evil-ish at times, but I really dug it.

It just got a novelization published, too. The cover art reminds me of something out of a gnarly old comicbook!

I've never read any movie novelizations before, but apparently they expanded a lot on part two. It sounds like it might be cool.

Only two chapters left before draft three of my novel is complete. After an editor and some peer review, I'm gonna feel pretty good about sending this out to publishers.
