prob wouldnt *go* anywhere. my favorite platform is substack right now. my monthly newsletter is the only internet thing i do that doesn't suck

so i would probably just do that, and some instagram posts here and there so i can book tattoos. i think being on less platforms is probably good for brain

most of my posts here kind of cap out at 20-30 likes and there's almost never any new followers. meanwhile i'll post the same art on insta and even twitter every now and then and see crazy results. not really sure what i'm doing wrong! also see tons of other artists with good followings. what gives?

im considering jumping ship here. havent really found this place to be a good replacement for old twitter. the vibes are a bit off and i havent been able to build much of a following here either.

anyone here actually like it / have tips for how to enjoy this platform? wanna give it one more chance

FWIW last judge is a great fight, its just hard. its fair tho

Savage beastfly isn't a great fight bc the enemies that spawn in are rng that the player just has to brute force. but its better than lost lace because the beastfly isnt super complex so youre not balancing RNG with a complex moveset

if it wasn't for this fight i would have finished the game at 99% like 3 days ago

lost lace feels like it stumbles with giving the player a payoff for learning the moveset of the boss, because you can't learn or react to random teleporting or RNG attacks spamming you into a corner. this fight is genuinely worse than savage beastfly and last judge combined

silksong (and hollow knight) bosses are fun when they play out like this

-go in the first time, get completely wrecked
-start to learn the patterns after getting wrecked a bit
-make it to phase 2, get wrecked
-learn those patterns
-eventually you're waltzing with the boss taking no damage and win

her counter is predictable and not the hardest thing to dodge, but the hitbox is crazy. if hornet is close but not touching it, it'll straight up pull her into it like a magnet.

so you dodge one of her moves, only for her to teleport into you for 2 masks of damage anyway w/almost no time for you to react. this happens constantly!

in phase 2 and 3 her rng moves have the potential to put you into an undodgeable situation where you'll lose 2-4 masks with no chance to dodge

i know its likely the last fight in the secret ending, so a difficulty spike is to be expected, but i genuinely feel like this fight is broken.

like, she can teleport in 2 frames directly into you with no spacing for 2 contact damage. and she can do it immediately after attacking.

i've struggled with a few bosses in silksong (last judge) but generally have enjoyed the challenge and rhythm of each fight. i don't really have much to complain about. nearly perfect game for me.

except for the lost lace fight. this shit is soooo busted. it's like actually genuinely unfair.

If she moves from a position in the wilds you can usually find her in bellheart or bone bottom :-) hope this helps a bit!
