The worst part of it all? Even if most of the awful video game companies go defunct(or get sold off), the fat cats at the top will still have more than enough money to live in luxury for the rest of their lives. While the former employees at the bottom continue to suffer and struggle to find jobs.

The video games industry will not survive if this continues to be the norm.

If your employees are afraid of being laid off no matter what they do, how can you expect them to continue making great games that make you tons of money?

The "Go woke, Go broke" crowd is really quiet right now.

I sincerely hope those who were laid off are able to find new employment quickly. Shit like this really sucks, especially when you make a good game that does well and still lose your job.
