SCOWL Batman has his cape and cowl, but Dratman only needs a scowl. He frowns at villains, so disapproving, and makes them quake with guilty musings: “Sorry for my misbehavior. How can I earn back your favor?” No gadgets, No cave, No sidekick to pay, but Gotham’s crimes have gone away and things are great here every day now that Dratman’s come to stay.

of liquid air
and the sometimes voice,

Just now, a wordless song.
I kick my limb.

We had a huge elm in our yard. Huge! The tree guy said it was the largest he’d seen locally in many years, but he couldn’t save it. There are fewer and fewer such local survivors of Dutch Elm Disease.
