An online ad for something called "Hug Sleep Pod," apparently a blanket/snuggie type thing whose "gentle compression acts like a calming hug, quieting thoughts and soothing your nervous system." Ad features three kids of different sizes all asleep, side-by-side, on a white full-size mattress, most of their extremities engulfed in this infantile straitjacket. The ad doesn't indicate whether this product works better than or worse than duct-taping your kids' arms and feet together and blindfolding them.

Honestly this looks like nightmare fuel to me.

(The Florida ACLU website does say that anybody can call that hotline to report ICE activity.)

I put the hotline number in my phone's memory, because I won't know it or easily find it in an intense situation. If I find a better number, I'll put that in instead.

So I was feeling like I am completely unprepared to know how to respond as a bystander if I witness an ICE abduction, so I looked around for some tips.

Many state advocacy groups have a hotline you can call to report ICE activity. Florida's, for instance, is 888-600-5762.

It doesn't help that nobody can spell KHAKI.
