Cruelty seems to be the motivation. A peer reviewed study in the journal Nature Human Behavior from December of 2023 concluded that states that passed anti-transgender laws saw suicide attempt rates on trans kids increase by as much as 72%.

One of the most decent and honorable men to serve as president of the United States and arguably the best ex-president of all time. He did more to promote peace, free and fair elections, housing, and living his Christian values than any other ex president before or after.
