I 100% believe this has contributed to me having difficulty with reading and visual arts. I can’t picture what an author is describing, and I can’t imagine what something would look like until I put it on paper

I have an inner monologue, and even have dreams. But if I try to “picture” something in my mind, I just see static.

I was able to play make-believe using my inner monologue. I do remember having an imaginary friend, but they were more conceptual than someone I could actually visualize
