Here's an updated Top 300 just in time for this weekend's drafts.

Figured Carlos Estévez would find his fastball in the WBC, but it's just not happening. Worrisome.
Talked about the mental side of baseball with a handful of folks at spring training in Arizona. Hope you enjoy it.

Profar's suspension frees up $15 million for the Braves to sign Giolito and Pham or McCutchen. Seems like a win.
Hate losing great beat writers, but it was beyond obvious that Sam was destined for this. Congrats!
Here are my writeups of our top 50 outfielders for 2026.

I'm interested to see more EV numbers from Arizona... all of the ballparks have Statcast now, compared to just two previously. It does seem like EVs are typically up in Arizona spring games. I've thought it might be humidor related, if the baseballs aren't prepped the way they are for the reg szn.
Nick Madrigal supposedly hit a ball 111.6 mph yesterday. His high in 285 games as a major leaguer is 106.9 mph.
In the same inning, Nick Senzel hit a ball 111.1 mph. His high in a regular-season game is 109.8 mph.
Might be spring training for Statcast, too.
Not sure about this every game thing. What if Nationals-Rockies is still going on after midnight?
June 11th?
In Las Vegas this week for the FSGA conference.
About to take part in the 2026 FSGA Experts Fantasy Baseball Senior Circuit draft. You can follow the draft at the link below, but it will also be broadcast live on Sirius XM.

The Padres are the team at the end of the draft with $6 left and six spots to fill.
So much good stuff at Rotoworld today!
- @zkffb.bsky.social looks into a potential red flag with Fernando Mendoza's draft profile
- @jamesschiano.bsky.social previews shortstop for fantasy baseball, complete with our consensus rankings/profiles/projections; James also posted a piece on ADP data
I'm not typically one to bring stuff over from the bad site, but everything about this is gold.
👀 ⚾️ It’s official.
Clayton Kershaw, Joey Votto, and Anthony Rizzo are joining NBC Sports’ coverage of MLB this season.

Suarez at first, Steer back to left field? It'd be idiotic if this blocks Stewart at all. Definitely a lot of flexibility, though. Not like Ke'Bryan, for all of his defense, needs to be locked into the lineup.
I'm gonna be #live with @rotopat.bsky.social and @kyledvo.bsky.social a little after 3:00 eastern if you want to hear us talk about Mike McDaniel in LA, Belichick getting snubbed, things of that nature: www.twitch.tv/rotoworld_
Looks like trading Chivilli was more about opening the spot on the 40-man for this trade than it was about Rumsfield. I don't get that, given all of the mediocre bats on the 40-man, but they were obviously pretty down on him.
I'm a little better with this one. Julien certainly isn't a big upside guy, especially since he really needs to be at first base, but I like him more than Johnston/Crim/Rumsfield. His contact numbers aren't nearly as bad as his ugly strikeout rates.
The Rockies gave up Angel Chivilli for a nearly 26-year-old first baseman they could have just taken in the Rule 5 draft?
I assume things will get better, but based on their offseason so far (Castro, McCarthy, Lorenzen), you'd never guess they overhauled the front office.
It sure seems like everyone who participated in the cheating, given the chance, would do it all over again. And now it's Hall of Fame-voter approved or at least excused.
"And that's eight exceptional innings from Nathan Eovaldi tonight against the Orioles. Taking a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the ninth, here comes Alexis Díaz to try to close this one out."
I don't hate what the Rangers have done this offseason, but it's not easy to see a big picture.
Well, it was up to date for a good eight minutes there. MacKenzie Gore was about 10 spots off the list on the Nationals, but he'll be comfortably in the top 300 in a considerably better situation in Texas.
It's that time. My top 100 prospects in fantasy baseball. www.nbcsports.com/fantasy/base...
The Hall of Fame makes a great deal of its income on induction weekend. Sending in blank ballots to supposedly protect the HOF is working against it, in fact.
I could see a salary cap that works. Something with a narrowing cap/floor spread out over several years. Arbitration after one year, free agency after four, no contracts longer than five years. Make it so players get the most money when they're worth the most. But that wouldn't be the league's goal.
