Truly great art is when different people can come to different interpretations tbh. Not only that, but sometimes the most common interpretations that come from people who make really long analysis videos can be completely bogus tbh (which i feel does apply to some stuff I've heard about Eva)

Its crazy though, they really were telling people the Ultra 64 was way more powerful than it'd actually be. Maybe it really was planned to be better but man, it didn't even come CLOSE to what was promised, at least in terms of performance. Arcade games using similar hardware still had sacrifices.

My girlfriend and I still have a few of those Halo 2 steelbooks (yes we have more than one, i dont know why lmfao) and sadly one of them is in SUPER bad condition with the rust (like worst than the one in the image you posted) but one of them is in pretty good condition all things considered.

One last thing: The pause menus are fine. I like them. The loading screens are neat too; they kinda remind me of the menus and stuff from Spyro 2.

The new main menu for the remake? Static placeholder looking screens. I fucking hate it. Actually, a lot of games do that now and i fucking hate it. What happened to creative main menus and title screens?

Gonna rant about that title screen and main menu for a sec. In the original you had this nice 3D file select screen where each file had Yooka and Laylee doing a different thing. Basically exactly how the Banjo-kazooie file selects were. It screams N64 era charm.

3. Although it doesn't matter in the end since the game IS 90000 times better... There's some stylistic decisions made in the remake that loses a bit of the game's charm. Namely the text boxes (technically better but i liked the ones that were straight out of BK), and the title screen + menu.
