If someone you know struggles with a mood disorder and/or is neurodivergent, the best thing to do is ask how you can be there for them in tough situations

Mental illness is very much invisible in most cases, and nobody realizes what someone is going through, and in most cases even if they tell them, they will not understand the severity or depth. Mental health is just as important and just as disabling as physical health in many cases.

Regardless of the reason, these things are more accepted and that is good, but things like bipolar and major depression and PTSD and autism are still heavily stigmatized, and even in my own social bubble I have had to explain why I can't go to the grocery store by myself

Things like ADHD and anxiety are slowly becoming less ostracized by society, probably because in my (deducted) opinion, capitalism causes the average person to experience a lot of anxiety and symptoms that if constant and more severe would be categorized as ADHD diagnosis evidence

I have ADHD, bipolar, generalized anxiety with emphasis on social anxiety and moderate to extreme agoraphobia, c-PTSD, and autism.
