I donโ€™t understand why the new Snow White is failing at the box office even though seeing the original film is a core childhood memory for people in their late 90s

Adam Jones - aka Bomb - leans against a wall

That was a great win for England, obviously, but I hate to see Bomb like this ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

"Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is a human number; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six" - Revelation 13:18

I just subbed the intro of a story on the Pope down to this... ๐Ÿ‘€

Donald Trump accuses Zelensky of 'gambling with World War Three' The US president clashes with Ukraine's leader in a fiery Oval Office exchange over ending the war with Russia.

Anyway I wrote about what seemed like an ambush in the Oval Office last night โคต๏ธ

Interesting to hear normal people non-politics or media jobs go off about how wild the treatment of Zelennsky was

The dads watching swimming class this morning were deep diving into the Trump-Zelenksy row from last night!

Never seen a news story cut through into daily SE25 life before

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

Elon Musk did the Hitler salute twice during his speech today. But it isnโ€™t clear what this gesture might have meant.

The mistake being made about Meta is to say they're just doing this to make conservatives happy. They've been doing that a decade+. Removing fact checkers and bringing back political content means there will be more stuff that gets more people mad which creates more engagement. Growth at all costs.

Something about this has really got to me. It is just such a slap in the face - this is what we're worth, is it? Arguably the largest connector of human beings in the world, flooded with literal friction between each and every one by a billionaire addicted to growth. Death cult shit. Disgraceful.

What are we DOING here? We're just meant to sit and act like this insane plagiarism and climate threat that requires more money than anything has ever cost is worth it? Are we meant to pretend that ChatGPT is worth this aimless, meaningless destruction of capital and our environment? For what?

OpenAl says it needs 'more capital than we'd
imagined' as it lays out for-profit plan

Yeah I need way more money than anyone ever got before. I need it because my shit is difficult right now. But it's important in ways even I haven't been able to work out. OpenAI is a serious business. Help me. Please help me please my serious company is so good. Help me

If you are to watch one thing about the Assad regime, make it this 55 seconds.

Note: The rebels found a little kid in the same prison heโ€™s talking about.

A toddler stands at the door of a Syrian jail cell after being freed by rebels.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about this kid since I saw the clip.

The reaction to rainbow armbands is so depressing. There needs to be an education in clubs. It's just solidarity. That's all. That people shouldn't be persecuted. Wearing a rainbow isn't saying 'This is my culture' or 'This is my lifestyle'. It's just saying let people live their lives and feel safe

Yes, this is arguably massively embarrassing behaviour for a grown man - but given the state of Spotify nowadays it's not *entirely* far-fetched, is it?
