There is in my opinion a much darker force at work. A regressive Right wimg force that seeks to socially control and politically/social repress/punish, through the power of government, those at the lower levels of state government that refuse to conform to social Conservative standards .
No Governor Republican, Democrat or Independent should have such power as a State Governor to remove a publicly elected official elected by the people over the actions of promoting something as harmless as tolerance, love and equality.
