“Yup! It’s because mama wants to open a new lab in Albion! We drained the mountain here of available resources and risk making the mountain collapse!”

The group followed Loki, walking to the tall structure. It had pillars made of a blueish glass like material as support beams. Cypher scanned everything he could..

‘If we make it back. Besides it’s a friggin tower..’ cypher points it out.

“It’s a structure made by a sentient being most likely.. if we can find friendly indigenous communities here it’s a major boon to us”

The engineer would look over to see buildings, made from ivory and gilded mythril.
“Materials not from our own world.. should we check it out?”

Cypher was checking his tacpad.
“Establishing link in 3…2…1…”. Everyone’s eyes flickered, as soon a hologram map of the area showed up, it.. was a mirrored map of the lake they were flying over before.

The ship descends, a rough landing.. however it didn’t cause damage.. once the door opened, they were met with the feywilds, as well as silence, other than wind blowing between the trees..

As the vtol made its way into the portal, a flash of white hit everyone, no sound.. once the white lite faded the VTOL’s automated navigation system began to fail, it shot the satellite up into the sky, as the ship began to lower, a parachute flying out to help slow down the descent.

Hours pass, they’re nearing the rift. The sky was a bright pink near it. It definitely grew some.
The engineer in green peeks out the window.
Her voice calm, analyzing.
‘It’s grown significantly.. it’s now or never everyone.’
