This is Director of WHO. And that’s exactly the point I’m trying to make all day every day this week.
Love this for Nancy Mace.

The GOP could end the DHS shutdown immediately by agreeing that ICE should act like any other law enforcement agency.
Every single oil executive in the entire world must be having the same slow, horrible realization that led Rex Tillerson to eventually snap and call Trump a "fucking moron".
I find it odd that the US is touting the use of AI in Iran AND blaming a "targeting error" for bombing the shit out of a girls' school, and no one in the media seems to be asking the obvious question.
Ossoff: "Trump has a problem with every side of his coalition ... they see this guy and his family raking in billions from all over the world while the cost of living crisis in America gets worse. It's infuriating people, and not just Democrats."
APNewsAlert: BAGHDAD (AP) — #Iraq says at least one killed in Basra port attack as country halts operations at oil ports.
In South Burlington, Vermont, protesters are being tear-gassed by ICE and local police as they attempt to prevent a kidnapping.
Yeah but he’s building a badass ballroom.
Meanwhile, Trump spent the day in Kentucky campaigning against the guy who got the Epstein files released.
when you’re arguing about politics here on bluesky just remember there’s a young sheldon spinoff called george and mandy’s first marriage that’s watched by millions of people
I’m sure Trump anticipated all this and has a great plan because he’s a master strategist.
we’re doing the meme ourselves now
I'm not a commodities guy but I don't know how many more events like this the markets will be willing to overlook because Trump occasionally shouts, "nearly done!" at a reporter from his golf cart.
Now America knows what it feels like to be an investor in Trump Shuttle Airlines in 1990.
There is a reason every other president refused Bibi’s invitation to start a regional war. Trump was the only one dumb enough to take the bait.
Immediately disqualifying for the job for which he has been nominated. The 4th Amendment specifies it’s “the right of the people,” not of citizens.
We cannot allow someone who doesn’t understand the 4th Amendment to be the head of DHS.
"I don't want the president of the United States to have a cognitive deficiency."

When the President decides photojournalists can’t take pictures at Sec’y Hegseth’s Iran briefings, it’s not a small thing. We’re connecting the dots to the larger efforts to erode our 1st Amendment rights, just when we need them the most. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

I think my favorite quote of the day was Mike Johnson saying that Markwayne Mullin taking over DHS was going to save Republican candidates in the midterms. Dude just needs to keep strategizing exactly like that from now until Nov.
It doesn’t seem like Trump gamed this out very well ahead of time.
As a country we have made a lot of mistakes in foreign wars over the last 2+ centuries. But I’m not sure we have ever looked as feckless, foolish, incompetent and ridiculous at the leadership level than right now.
Meet the new boss same as the old boss.

By the way, if this is true, it means Noem potentially lied under oath, or alternatively was so uninterested in the day-to-day operations of DHS that she had no clue (but that would be surprising given that the winner was a firm she’d used before.
The right wing is really knives out for Noem.
