Swan Princess 🦢

A shoulder-up drawing of Eyvan, an original character of a swamp Na’vi, inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar species. He is a dark teal colour with bright purple round markings along his face and body - inspired by the bright markings of a poisonous creature. He is looking up away from where he is facing at somewhere emitting an orange light which covers half his body and face and some of the background plants and trees which are mostly shades of blue and purple. He is also wearing black and white paint, the black paint covering his forehead and nose, with a line coming down his neck from his lips. The white paint is two streaks on his cheeks, and large spots on his collar.

Little update to Eyvan’s design and experimenting with different brushes for this one 👀

I've gone for its own design based on crocodile tails! Thought that would be fitting for their environment and think it makes them look pretty cool haha, I'll be posting a more full-body drawing of Eyvan to show it off soon!

For me they're like a mix of reef/forest as they live in a mangrove swamp environment! I'd love to get a big drawing done explaining the subspecies a bit more soon 👀

Thank you!! They're bioluminescent markings inspired by the bright markings you see on animals that warn predators of their venom/poison such as poison dart frogs or a blue ringed octopus. This type of Na'vi I came up with can produce their own venom!
