What concerns me is that the people rise up in protest over a comedian losing his show but remain quiet while democracy, free speech, healthcare etc. are stolen before their eyes. Have we really sunk that far?

We all hate government regulations but at the same time we want; meat, railway, airplane, elevators, fair grounds, highways, apartment buildings etc. etc. etc safe for our use. Private business just wants us to trust them. If we could trust them, we would not need regulations and Inspectors.

The PUBLIC gets to choose what channel to switch to. They get to choose which comedian they want to hear. They get to choose when to turn off their tv. So why do local tv stations get to decide "what the American people think"?
