Loved being back in Ohio to spend time with leaders who are firmly focused on building a better future.
Praying for Michigan’s Jewish community and grateful for the quick work of first responders and law enforcement during today’s attack. While we wait for more information, one thing is clear: antisemitism anywhere must be confronted and stopped.
@petebuttigieg.bsky.social knows what it means to be grounded in the community you serve.
I’m glad to have him with me in this fight to make life better for working families.
Thank you to Mayor Woodfin and the people of Birmingham for welcoming me and sharing your concern and stories. Conversations like these - offline, in real life - are vital for understanding our moment and for building hope.
Their example compels us to do everything it takes in our time to move America toward its deepest values and its great promise, still too often unfulfilled, of liberty and justice for all.
What an honor to walk on this hallowed ground in Selma with some of the civil rights foot soldiers who marched here 61 years ago on #BloodySunday. We have so much to learn from the the moral power, and the physical courage, of the marchers who faced down Jim Crow on that day.
Our economy is bleeding jobs. Prices are up, especially for gas. Yet the White House prioritizes tax cuts for billionaires, while launching a reckless new Middle East war.
It doesn't have to stay this way - not if the American people make our voices heard.
Of course, Kristi Noem deserved to be fired. But rather than spend energy celebrating this Trump setback, let's recognize that the disaster of today’s DHS runs much deeper than the (former) Secretary's incompetence - and keep stepping up the political pressure.
Got it. There's plenty of funding to send troops into harm’s way, but not to take care of their health afterwards. This is shameful.
We have learned - the hard way - how launching a reckless war of choice with no clear endgame can put Americans in greater danger.
They cut Meals on Wheels for seniors, doctors for the VA, and food for American children - but send billions of taxpayer dollars to the Middle East for an unnecessary war of choice.
I’ll be joining @kaitlancollins.bsky.social tonight on @cnn.com at 9:00pm ET. Hope you’ll tune in.
Our nation is again at war, not because we had to but because the president recklessly chose to.
Now we must recognize who pays the price: not the president and his wealthy allies, but service members and ordinary Americans.
I wrote about what’s at stake - and what we as citizens can do.

This war will do nothing to help - and will very likely make things worse - when it comes to the biggest challenges we face at home.
Trump or his wealthy friends won’t pay the price. It will fall on service members and their families, on taxpayers, and on working Americans already stretched thin.
Their loss reminds us why sending troops into harm's way is the gravest responsibility a leader can face - a choice only to be made when there is no real alternative.
Grieving for the four American service members known so far to have been killed in action, and praying for the families of these patriots who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
This nation learned the hard way that an unnecessary war, with no plan for what comes next, can lead to years of chaos and put America in still greater danger.
The President has launched our nation and our great military into a war of choice, risking American lives and resources, ignoring American law, and endangering our allies and partners. It does nothing to help with the urgent problems here at home that Americans face every day.
This is a time for coalition. We may not agree on everything, but surely the defense of liberty in the face of this administration's abuses can bring together progressives, libertarians, and quite a few conservatives in common cause.
The President isn't fooling most Americans: he is actively making life in this country more expensive.
So, the Trump DOJ failed to release files concerning an Epstein accuser with claims involving Trump... but did manage to accidentally reveal that the files existed?
Americans are fed up with this administration’s mix of incompetence and corruption. Time to come clean.
Beer is more expensive because of Donald Trump's tariffs.
This administration has managed to do many big things at once. The problem is they're all harmful.
The next time our party earns the chance to lead, we have to be prepared to aim big and do many things at once - things that will actually help improve life in America.
In tonight's speech, the president did what he does best: celebrate himself. But if anyone was looking for leadership focused on easing their current economic pain, he made clear that they'll need to look elsewhere.
Busy days ahead for our new Fraud Czar, JD Vance.
Some thoughts before the President's speech tonight.
We don't always have to wait for an election to see results.
Last week I met Granite Staters raising their voice against this proposed ICE detention facility.
Today, they won: the Trump administration gave up. Never underestimate your own power in moments like these.
In tough times, New Hampshire does what we’ve always done — we show up and do democracy.
It was an honor to share the stage with my friend @petebuttigieg.bsky.social in Nashua. Grateful to be in conversation with patriotic, freedom-loving Granite Staters who are ready to get to work.
We don’t even have to wait for Election Day to get real results from applying political pressure. Just look at how even Republican Members of Congress defied this president's attempt to hide the Epstein files.
