The writing of chapter 2 has officially begun between debugging/enhancement sessions. The prototype is 99.9% done. This afternoon, Mars B. is helping me balancing the sfx and the music to make a better master. Then, a couple of improvements and the demo should end on itch !

Godot's GitHub has increasingly many pull requests generated by LLMs and it's a MASSIVE time waster for reviewers – especially if people don't disclose it. Changes often make no sense, descriptions are extremely verbose, users don't understand their own changes… It's a total shitshow. #godotengine

I made a playable demo, and made it available to friends and colleagues from the French Godot discord. Lots to do, but an official release of the prototype is planned in the next few weeks !

The Demo is READY !!! Can't believe it.
I need to test it thoroughly on my Windows and Linux computers, then a first round of "private" playtests will happen with colleagues and friends, and THEN I'll put it live on Steam and itch :)

Photo d'une foule dans un colisée.
Quatre personnages sont debout sur la gauche, l'un tend un tissu rouge au dessus de lui de son bras droit. Un autre bras sorti de nulle part, avec un coude à l'envers, tient le tissu de l'autre côté.
En bas, trois bras levés ne correspondent à aucun corps.
En bas à droite, un bateau dans l'arène avec un mât à la position "intéressante". Illustration montrant au premier plan des huttes au toit de chaume.
Quatre personnages sont autour, tous beaucoup trop grands pour passer les portes des huttes en question.
En arrière-plan, des bâtiments plus "évolués" avec des toits pèle-mêle dont l'architecture n'a aucun sens. Une foule (?) rassemblée autour d'un feu de joie gigantesque dans un cercle de pierre type Stonehenge. C'est l'illustration la moins détaillée donc ça saute beaucoup moins aux yeux mais si on regarde entre chaque pilier du cercle, les décors n'ont aucune cohérence entre eux.

Des fois que vous ayez encore des doutes sur la bonne foi du "ooooh pardooonnn l'IAGen c'était juste des placeholders qu'on a oublié de remplacer" :

Un pote qui bosse à Ubi m'a chopé une boîte *édition spéciale* d'Anno 117 qui contient 3 illustrations imprimées sur papier.
