Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at your work.
"That's not how the system works." Alternatively, "That's not how math works."
We spoke to Black women who started the Target boycott & who sustained it for a yr+. They'll likely never go back.
Teacher Laverne Mickens put it like this: β[Black women] will say if & when itβs over. And I can tell you right now: That will be the 15th of never ever.β

Just need to say it
Just sent you a Venmo
Tapping the sign because I keep seeing a lottttt of "haha Heated Rivalry season 2" posts about Republican politicians and I'm SICK OF IT
Your righteous rage has given me an absolutely disproportionate amount of glee, thank you. I read your whole thread to my wife with increasing volume and desperation and hope I did it justice. Thank you for the delightful laugh!
Art by @tsartistry.bsky.social -- of the literal hundreds of masterpieces and random scribbles she's drawn, this is still the one that haunts me. Others make me feel or laugh or want to write her a novel or ten, but this one haunts me.
Tsa is the best!
This site needs a break. Post 3 good things, none of which are cessation of a negative.
1. Art, silly or serious, drawn by a beloved friend and gifted in a time of need
2. Hitting a perfect harmony at last on a beautiful song
3. An overflowing poke bowl with extra avocado and milk tea with jelly
It's not over in Minnesota, but we're not going anywhere. The press and the news orgs have moved on but we're still out all day every day in every neighborhood protecting each other. Not for 15 minutes of viral fame, but to live a life together here in our community. DHS will never break us.
If you see this, post a robot
This International Women's Day, please remember that trans women are women. Full stop. No qualifiers.
Born and raised in Batavia!
Are you a transplant from WNY like me??? It's been a long time since I thought about that jingle because it's been a Six Flags so long!
Abolishing ICE should be the *conservative* position. The whole system needs to be dismantled, and these fuckers need to be fired, investigated, and prosecuted.
Don't let guilt push you to the breaking point, let alone beyond. We need you in this fight. We need you for the future. Grant yourself the kindness and care you extend to others. Breathe and heal when you need to. We're all in this together and we're stronger when we prioritize our mental health.
I've taken a giant step back lately from engaging with the horrors, trying to get a handle on the damage to my body, brain, and soul. It is not a lack of care about these events. It's that we can all only hold so much pain and fear and trauma and rage. Rest and self care are necessary for survival.
Rod Serling is probably the coolest guy of the 20th century. Looked cool, sounded cool, fought Nazis, hated John Wayne, wrote the screenplay for Planet of the Apes. Honestly dunks all the hell over any male influencer guy.

Can confirm, every Signal chat in town either said nothing or made one snide comment and then immediately got back to work
Let me be clear: Iβm glad Kristi Noem was fired. But we still have to abolish ICE.
Honestly this brought me a ridiculous amount of joy. I love how we bond over the monthly awoooo and the storm watches and pets in the basement pics.
Really, truly, the MN feed is the best community on the Internet even before we are god-damned heroes protecting each other.
No place I'd rather be
It's the little joys of storm tracking and pets in basements pictures, and Wednesday awooooos that bring us together when we're not under crisis
Nope! Weβre a union, and that means even when you get in fistfights during practice, you show up when the lights are on come Sunday.
Weβre all in this together, and weβre all on the same team.
Oh yeah I was watching and calling play-by-play for Sarah in the other room!
How I arrived on Bluesky
Thank you for everything! I was glued to this thread all day. Congratulations on speaking in federal court and thank you for doing so on behalf of our neighbors!
The trauma in this thread is heartbreaking but the truth is undeniable.
Hi, I'm the eldest of two and the only girl. The whole family's emotional well-being is my responsibility, and so is everything regarding my younger sibling from his grades to his behavior in public or private. I am secondary.
