Love to see this! I grew up in South Dakota (East River) and now I have another reason to visit and eat. I can start at Sanaa's in Sioux Falls then drive 6 hours west to check out Catrachos. #roadtrip

This editor can only work on the journal in a weekend (and do love sending acceptances, even on weekends). I imagine the editor of yours is in a similar boat ❀️

Last night, driving to the conference, I talked for hours on the phone with friends; this morning, I prioritized texting family, drinking good local coffee at two small businesses, and finding water even though it's windy. Small things. Community things.

I'm at a meeting of deans / provosts at schools in the Northeast. I am especially interested to think out loud together about how our colleges and universities can work to improve our neighborhoods, towns, and regions and demonstrate our value to the places we are located within.
