I'm already sick of "It's all a distraction from Epstein" replies. This regime is killing innocent people because our leaders are all power-hungry tyrants and war profiteers. When you say it's "just a distraction" you minimize the gravity of what's happening and the lives lost.

I'm so full of political rage today, but alongside that I keep thinking of entertainment monopolies and one of the most wonderful antidotes to spoon-fed algorithm pap:

Tabletop gaming! Find games written and illustrated by humans and sit around with other people telling stories. Game up!

And people still ask me why I stepped down from the Creator Network and stopped buying stuff from EA (which is expected to sell this year to a group that includes Kushner's investment firm).

Oh my god so true. Sadly, I have not aged out of “shit, did I offend everyone?” every time I leave a social interaction.

I enjoyed it! As big a horror fan as I am, we keep finding films I haven’t seen before (including this one)!

So: cool setting, great lighting, fun color symbolism and goth steampunk Vincent Price count for a lot - but some people are *really* not meant for marriage.

I’m enjoying the folk horror side of this very much, from the animals in the film to the Stonehenge nod and the ruined abbey. The story is leaving me cold, but the vibes and aesthetic are fascinating. #horrorwatch

The character of Rowena is driving me nuts, but yeaaah, the legal sticky wicket of Ligeia being paperwork-free and embodied in a cat would mess me up too. #horrorwatch
