Yeah when reportea asked about revenue growth he said he sees ‘tremendous opportunity in natural gas’ and nothing else. It will take more than a decade to see a dollar from offshore gas even if he keeps forcing his authoritarian ‘one man in charge’/ legislate first and ask question later approach.

Actually he is! He has said - on the record- that he doesn’t want NS to be ‘begging Alberta’ for money through the CHST. He wants an Alberta style economy here. He does not believe in Federalism or wealth redistribution through fair taxation.

And he does this during a time when everyone is cancelling US travel and seeking destinations elsewhere. He needs to go NOW. If he can’t acknowledge growth opportunities in tourism at this moment in history- it’s clear that he’s been bought out by petrocapitalists.

The premier of Nova Scotia’s ENTIRE plan is based on oil and gas extraction. He just said it on air. That is his only plan. Our biggest industry is tourism and he just cut $$ to tourism, arts & conservation (all reasons why people come here).
