New oc, Hope throughout the years. The short one to the left (with the purple tentacles) is her @ 15. The one to the right (with the burgandy tentacles) is her @ 21. Hope got a little silly and decided to cut her tentacles, ears and suction cups down/off completely - causing her tentacles to steadily rot and desaturate as she got older.

Top half of the screen: Hope sitting in a coffee shop with Jubby (my sona), the text "If only..." appears above them. This is because this is not a canon part of their story. Bottom half of the screen: Hope with her best friend, Jules (Jubby); sheepishly explaining how she no longer wants to be associated with the octarian military/octarians in general OR be underground for any longer. Jules "reacts calmly" to this information.

Hope and Jules in their octoleet armor. The two are 15 & 14 respectively, and Jules has a one-tentacle hairstyle to accommodate for his younger form and a nod to what the Splatoon 1 playable octoling boy hairstyle would've been.
