Last week, Canada issued a statement "reaffirming its commitment to the safety of journalists" in Gaza. But it did not specify how it plans to hold Israel accountable, only calling on the government to take action.

Israel launched airstrikes at two newspaper offices in Yemen's capital city Sanaa on Wednesday, killing at least 35 people total and wounding at least 165.
