In a small defense of Kaiser, I also had to take a class w/them to get cataract surgery 4 years ago & had to sign a waiver I was aware of complications associated w/the eye surgery. I didn't feel too disrespected in 1984. Thought it was kind of helpful to make an informed decision about my future🤰
