If he got hurt on a hockey play, that works. This is a cheapshot against a player with a known injury history by a guy who had time to assess all that before burying him from behind.

NHL officiating is complete garbage. Those of us who think rules ought to be enforced or not be rules can barely watch the game anymore.

It's either Rock em Sock em or it's not. NHL seems too comfortable deciding on a per play basis and it's maddening.

Bad officiating is the rule, not the exception at this point. Game Management and non-calls, offsetting minors and not calling penalties while teams are on the PK already... it's making the game unwatchable.
