Being faithful when drawing others’ OCs is something I always strive for. Some attempts are more successful than others, but it’s always a valuable learning experience. 📚 And a fresh opportunity to draw new things and step out of my comfort zone. 👏

OC Name: Tajih OC Artist: MirukiMary on ArtFight This art piece is traditionally drawn in pencil and is shaded monochromatically. It depicts a head/bust shot of Tajih, a Miqo’te OC based in Final Fantasy 14’s world. Tajih is dressed in an adventurer’s outfit, adorned with belts and straps across her chest, an ornate metal pauldron on her left shoulder, and dark-colored, cloth arm bands on both wrists, going halfway up each of her two forearms. She has light brown hair tied back in a low ponytail, with long bangs framing both sides of her face down past her collarbones. She also wears two braids, one on each side of her head behind her sidebangs, that fall loosely to just below chin height, tied into a tuft of hair at the bottom. She currently sits on a couch, holding up a white teacup filled with a steamy warm beverage at chin height with both hands. OC Name: Florian OC Artist: DreamyNewt on Artfight This art piece is traditionally drawn in pencil and is shaded monochromatically. It depicts a half body composition of Florian, a mostly human who has water manipulation abilities at his disposal. Florian is a man who follows wherever the highest bidder goes. Safe to say, he likes money. A lot. And when push comes to shove, his morals can become quite vague. In this piece, Florian is dressed in a dark-colored dress shirt with the top buttons unbuttoned and both of his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He dons a dark-colored eyepatch and has a tan skin complexion. Florian wears a serious expression on his face as he leans his head down, fervorously writing in a notepad with a ballpoint pen that has a star symbol at the top of it, akin to a star placed at the top of a Christmas tree. He is in the midst of eavesdropping through a wall to catch hints of potential money-making intel he can use to his advantage. He uses a classic cup-and-string method, with one cup held up to the wall with a floating hand made out of water supporting it. Another water hand holds the other cup to Florian’s ear. And two more water hands hold up his long hair behind his head, in the process of tying it up into a ponytail to get the hair out of his face so he can focus.

OC Name: Rhys OC Artist: chambr on ArtFight This art piece is traditionally drawn in pencil and is shaded monochromatically. It depicts a head/bust shot of Rhys, a mysterious humanoid being who wears an intimidating white mask with white pupils and irises and a creepy tight-lipped smile. Grooves in Rhys’s mask are placed along the mouth shape to give the impression of cracks or stitches vertically placed along the length of the mouth that reaches out to the sides of the ears. Rhys has long, stringy black hair down his back and broad shoulders, giving him an intimidating and inhuman appearance. He wears long black robes with his neck and chest exposed, his skin appearing black with white spiraling patterns, akin to a void. On his neck are long and narrow teeth-shaped spines that give the impression of a multiple mouths the width of his neck. Rhy’s head is tilted at a 45-degree angle to his left side, with his left hand holding an ornate dagger pointed diagonally upwards past the left side of his head. His fingers are long and bony, with his nails black and sharp, like claws. His right hand is outstretched, wrist extended, and fingers spread out and slightly flexed in a manner that seems to say, “Come closer, there is nothing to be afraid of.”

OC Name: Sinister Cinis OC Artist: trashashhh on ArtFight This art piece is traditionally drawn in pencil and is shaded monochromatically. It depicts a head/bust shot of Sinister Cinis, also known as Cinis or Ash. She is a Creepypasta OC with the appearance of a human woman, a serial killer who roams the woods at night collecting trinkets. She takes her victims’ eyes to try on herself, implanting them in her empty eye sockets. Cinis has messy, dark-grey hair, reminiscent of a wolfcut, that falls down to her collarbones. Thick bangs frame her face with long loose bangs covering her forehead. Her skin complexion is grey, giving a similar appearance to that of a traditional zombie whose blood has run cold. Cinis has a line of stitches expanding outwards from the corners of her mouth towards her ears. Another line of stitches starts from the bottom of her right cheek up over the bridge of her nose and through her left eyebrow. She also has a small line of stitches from the inner corner of her left eye to her nose bridge. Her neck dons several horizontal and diagonal scars which appear to be healed. Her outfit consists of a hoodie with the collar and hood, as well as sleeves colored dark-grey, and the torso white. The seams where her shoulders and arms meet on the hoodie has stitches holding the fabric together. In this composition, Cinis is holding a sinister mask with her right hand, partially covering the right side of her face. Her left eye is wide open and bloodshot, with blood spilling from the button of this eye, having recently transplanted one of her victims’ eyes into the socket. Her right eye remains an empty socket. Her lips part slightly, her expression with a mix of euphoria and sadism.

I wanted to reflect on the end of this amazing season of ArtFight, and my first time participating. 🥰

It grew and refined so many skills, and it brought me such joy I could hardly sleep this past month. 🤭

Easily one of the highlights of my art journey. So, so excited for next year! 🎊🐣🎊

There are times when you fight art, thinking it won't fight back. But when it does, make sure to hold your ground, or you'll lose it. Grounds are expensive these days. So make sure to have backup grounds. 😞
