I love world building so much. I love creating characters, where they live, who they live with, what they’re living for, and how the world works around them.

Writing a journey within said world??? I struggle, but creating new worlds and magic systems? I can’t get enough of it.

Outing it into the world:

The first time I see BTS live, will either be for free paid for by someone else or I will be financially stable enough to buy tickets to a Seoul show and spend a week in South Korea🤷🏾‍♀️

Their prices are astronomical, so I gotta set goals.

I’m low-key very up my own ass, bcuz why am I planning to write a romantasy with all the tropes and cliches of the ones I keep seeing negative reviews on, with the intention of trying to “Not Like Other Girls” it.

So glad my anxiety has lessened in certain places as I’ve gotten older.

Just come to realize my perfect wip needs to be a mix of Riddick, Underworld, and Nosferatu (2024).

How can I make that happen? I have no clue currently, but I’m glad I figured it out.

I do my best writing when I’m sleepy. How awful is that.

Laid in bed for six hours fighting off a depressive spiral, and convinced myself to get up and shower by deciding to go buy juice and Swiss Rolls. Got to the register and was told I look gorgeous today. How nice is that.

Pretending to be a YouTuber reviewing a book as I write my wips really helps me better understand my plot points, character motivations, and magic systems.

What’s it called when you can see your book’s storyboard out in your head, but writing it down is impossible??

Bcuz I see each “box” of my outline, but trying to put it on paper always fails!

Like, I need my leading lady to walk into a trap, yet also gets her rocks off before killing the monster.

Going to see Nosferatu made me want to go back to my vampire wip, which very is loosely inspired by IWTV.

I really want to figure out how to write it, but I keep getting stuck.

Say hello to my new favorite piece!! It’s gel pen atop acrylic, and took me 8 hours total.

My sister said it looks like a robot, while my brother-in-law said a cactus. However, it is🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 a tree!

It’s been twisted and tangled by the wind, and I love it! It’s the most me painting I’ve ever made.

Telling myself I’m not gonna query until next year, took a huge weight off my shoulders.

I never had manuscripts ready anyway, yet still pressured myself into foolishly thinking I could send /something/ before the end of the year.

Not this time, and I feel so much lighter for being realistic.

The way I just made the BEST chicken salad sandwich!! Ess-a Bagel need to call me.

Got my last Goldbelly delivery from Ess-a Bagel in NY, and it was probably my favorite box.

Was delivered in 24hrs, still relatively cold, nothing was missing, and the bagels are soft after about 5min in the toaster oven. They’re also THICK and HUGE, lol.

I’ve never eaten something the exact moment I craved it, so the way this burrito is HITTING!? Amazing. I feel like a new woman.

In the middle of painting what I am already considering my favorite piece, bcuz it’s so different from anything I’ve done before. And it’s a technique I haven’t tried before.
