This is disastrous on multiple levels. We already have a high level of mistrust & people opting out of sharing will hit medical research so hard. I’d also hesitate to encourage people to share their protected characteristics data to monitor equality & diversity because of the plausibility of misuse.

I picked it up in a mercato dell’usato opposite the Chinese di San Salvatore in Ognisanti, in Florence. It may be ugly to Deb, but it reminded me of industrial Italian futurism… So that's me out €5.

I have to replace the missing rubber o-ring, and to get spares, but it has a distinct Jetsons vibe, so long as you don’t have to hold it too long. It has the ‘better pens are heavier pens’ syndrome, which is true if the pen is in fact better, not just heavier (Cf. Affirming the consequent, etc)
