Cleared the Hexachromatic Hierarch solo quest for the first time. Have just been putting it off and putting it off, but finally sat down and tackled it. Did it on Wind. Took some getting used to, but failed *twice* due to being unable to read. Japanese uses abbreviations and I missed the アビダメ part.

Yeah, I think I'm going to finish FE: Three Houses (what year is it???) for the first time (Golden Deer). I have 38 more relationships left to grind out, then I can just play through to the finish.

Gudetama, a Sanrio character which is an egg with a yellow yolk and a depressed/tired expression, sitting on an egg white, all made of tiny blocks.

And as a quick palette cleanser, put together a Gudetama nanoblock kit.

I have officially finished beating Harvestella (into the ground - i.e. all achievements, collectibles, everything). Overall, my impression from before holds. The plot was interesting (maybe like 1-2 too many twists?), but both the combat and the farming were not quite enough.

My IDE could be providing contextual auto-complete like it had for years (e.g. "io.R" -> "io.Read("), but no, it wants to write the entire code for me. But it's the wrong code.

New kittens are slowly settling in and warming up to the apartment. Surprisingly, the girl, who was more reticent in the shelter, is the one poking around and trying to get her brother to come out. He has walked around a bit, but is still very wary of the humans. ww

No matter how much I might support your cause, if you send me six emails in less than 24 hours I am unsubscribing from your communications list. And I'll give the organization a few days of grace, but if I see another email from them at any point after that I'll report them as spam. Jesus.

I eventually started sorting my pictures into folders just to prevent this, but once you have started sorting pictures, you kind of have to keep sorting pictures. So this is not exactly a new problem, but it has gotten dramatically worse in a short period of time. >.>

I do not want to be setting up zfs on a NAS. I already have enough tech I have to manage in the house!

Surely if I just have two separate cloud backup services and a beefy multi-terabyte hard drive, that'll be good enough!

11) Wow that's a lot of pictures, though. And many of them are duplicates.
12) Read up on photo storage and organization techniques.
13) Start crying.

7) Go out shooting. Get interesting pictures. Feel elated.
8) Realize that you shot all your pictures in JPEG and not RAW after reading a photography for dummies site on editing.
9) Fiddle with the settings to get pictures to save in RAW.
10) Realize your card space suddenly shrank significantly.

4) Buy a 100mm macro lens.
5) Realize that lenses are big and that you need some way to store them for transport (as well as the camera). Also you also probably want a spare battery.
6) Buy cases and battery. It begins to dawn on you that this might be a dangerous hobby.

The stages of photography, so far:
1) Get a great camera as a gift (after expressing interest in owning a camera).
2) Realize that lenses are different things and that some of the things you want to photograph can't be done with a 45mm lens.
3) Do research on lenses.

Being pressured to tag yourself is something I've seen happen to writers, but only by online lynch mobs as they're winding up to tear someone down.

Funny feeling to have the Gaia theory show up both in the game I'm playing (Harvestella) and the book I'm reading (世界の終わりに君は花咲く).

But it's like the author feels it too, because they usually hold onto it, it's a big secret, the main character is holding it close to their chest, it's really the worst thing ever! And then the curtain lifts and the magician is still just standing there, only under a sheet like no one can see him.

But it's always obvious that stopping the bullies wasn't an option. And I get it, humans don't process emotions logically. I've felt terrible for very minor transgressions, and a lot of these situations happen when the protagonist is a kid, so it's trauma more than anything else. /

Things like "I know my friend was being relentlessly bullied and all I did was help them up after the bullies knocked them over and ran off." It's like, yeah. I get it. Stopping the bullies would have been better. We all know that. /

Human emotions are complicated things, but it still twigs me a bit when a book sets up the "You don't understand, I am the worst, I am trash as a human being, etc," and it's very obviously that the character was just trying to make the best of a bad situation. /

Always nice when the gym's playlist has got both old faves and some new cool grooves.
