The universe really wants to remind me that I'm autistic today... Mom took me to get my nails done, I wanted to try cat eye nails. Immediately knew they were wrong and went into verbal shutdown. Mom scheduled to get them fixed as I tried to avoid a meltdown and look like a spoiled brat 🫠🫣

At lunch with my mom at a fancy place I've never been to that doesn't have any of my comfort meals on the menu. I put my loops in, did some deep breathing, asked my mom to help me make a plan on the fly, and I successfully did it!! Lowkey hella proud of myself for not just leaving like I used to 😊
