I have texts from back in 2014. Just found one from my (now deceased) stepfather.

Part of the reason why I end up with a bunch (although not on that level) is that I have a sibling who never sends 1 text when she can send 34 and when she gets in one of those moods I want to ignore her.

So I'm not going to play too many games with it.

My email is at a provider that technically no longer exists and only lets me still have my email address because when I called them to update a credit card number once, I got a sympathetic tech support person who let me keep it.

I've had it since 1995 and I don't want to change it damnit!

I skim my mail. I don't remember the last time I got a personal email. It's all commercial. Some of it I actually want and care about, but if I send someone a mail, I always make sure to message them to know that I did so.

Oh and bluesky notifications have to be 0. Always.

And I was on Hellthread for months. It was a challenge.
