European specific historical phenomena created the biased scientia that one normative model of phisyology should be considered when practising medicine. 2,400–3,000 Kcals for men? Bodies are not same. Medical semiotics is necessary to practise humanistic medicine. WHO is mostly care to hard-workers.

The Emergence of Cultural Studies and the Crisis of the Humanities on JSTOR Stuart Hall, The Emergence of Cultural Studies and the Crisis of the Humanities, October, Vol. 53, The Humanities as Social Technology (Summer, 1990), pp. 11-23

We have forgotten boundaries are somehow necessarily metaphysics, since we need to answer what is is under specific or modular occurrences and conditions.
To justifiably define true cannot only be a belief or doxa.

Frank Ankersmit - ICI Berlin Both the (logical-)positivist and the hermeneuticist approach to historical writing felt a greater affinity with the parts than with the whole of the historical text.

The sublime is simultaneously a rational and an aesthetic so, therefore, a cognitive leap of human space-time experience that we societies got used to call "historical experience".

After Kant, one must read Ankersmit.

I reckon only Saussure and Foucault are enough to fully understand moving from logics, through language until culture. But nobody could explain best than Anne F. Rothenberg Professor of the Humanities Homi Bhabha.

Kari Palonen | University of Jyväskylä Kari Palonen, Professor, Emeritus, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

In my humble opinion, Kari Palonen is the only and true heir of Koselleck's theory and methodology.
His works can jointly articulate Koselleck's and Skinner's.
His text on democracy is something nothing less than beautiful.

The Portuguese philosopher Fernando Gil would say the abstraction as a metaphor is a hallucination. And I reckon both Gil and Wittgenstein are right. Although one may need to first answer Kant's concerns in order to a final logical conclusion.
