I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore, but I'm floored by how little the American people have no idea how our 3 branches exist in our government, nor how fucking due process works. Once we make a mockery of our courts and the due process afforded to us, the end is nigh.

Why is this country such a hateful place? Today is one of those days, it all feels impossible to overcome. I feel like I do my part, but there is always more vitriol and I don't understand why people think that is the way. We don't have to tear one another down.
